These terms apply when you use translatura.com and when you order a certified translation from us. Please read them before you order. Nothing in them takes away rights you have as a consumer under Irish or European Union law.

2. What the service is
The free preview
You upload photos of a document and we show you an English translation on screen. The preview is an automatic draft made by an AI model. It has not been checked by a person, it may contain mistakes, and it is not a certified translation. Do not submit it to any authority.
The certified package
If you order, a translator checks the translation against your document, corrects it where needed and signs a Certificate of Translation Accuracy. You receive one PDF containing the certificate, the translation and a copy of the photos you provided.
We currently certify translations from Ukrainian and Russian into English.
3. What the certificate does and does not confirm
- It confirms that the translation is a complete and accurate translation of the copy you provided.
- It does not confirm that your original document is genuine or valid. We work from your photographs and never see the original.
- The copy of your document in the package is not a certified true copy, and the certificate is not a sworn statement, a notarial act or an apostille.
We prepare translations to the requirements that Irish authorities publish for certified translations. Each authority decides for itself what it accepts, and requirements differ and change, so we cannot guarantee that a particular authority will accept the translation. Check with the authority if you are unsure, especially if it asks for a sworn, notarised or legalised translation. What we do if a translation is not accepted is set out in Refunds and corrections.
4. Your part
- Upload only documents that you are entitled to have translated.
- Provide photos in which the whole page is visible and the text, stamps and numbers can be read. We translate what we can see.
- Tell us how names are spelled in your passport if the spelling matters for your application. Names can be written in Latin letters in more than one correct way.
- Read the package when you receive it and tell us promptly if something is wrong.
- Do not use the service for forged or altered documents, or to mislead any authority.
We may decline or cancel an order that we cannot complete properly, and will refund it in full if you have paid.
5. Price and payment
The price depends on the type of document and the number of pages. The total is shown in euro before you pay and is the full amount you pay us. Payment is taken through Stripe when you place the order.
6. Delivery
The package is sent to the email address you give us. We aim to deliver within one working day of payment; if we need a better photo from you, the time runs from when we receive it. The package is a digital file. We do not send paper copies unless we have agreed this with you separately.
7. Cancelling your order
If you are a consumer, you normally have 14 days to cancel a contract made online. A certified translation is prepared specifically for you and work starts as soon as you pay. When you order, you ask us to start immediately and you acknowledge that you lose the right to cancel once the package has been delivered.
If you cancel before the package is delivered, write to info@translatura.com; we will stop the work and refund you. See Refunds and corrections.
8. If something goes wrong
We are responsible for carrying out the service with reasonable care and skill, and for the translation matching the document you provided. If it does not, you are entitled to have it put right or to a refund, as described in Refunds and corrections.
We are not responsible for losses caused by things outside our control, including: a decision of an authority; a photo that was unclear, incomplete or not of the right document; a name spelling you did not tell us about; or use of the free preview as if it were a certified translation. Our total liability for an order is limited to the price you paid for it. This limit does not apply to anything the law does not allow us to limit, such as liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence, and it does not reduce your statutory rights as a consumer.
9. Your documents and your data
Your documents remain yours. We use them only to provide the service. How we handle personal data, and how long we keep it, is explained in the Privacy Policy.
10. The website
We try to keep the site available, but we do not promise that it will always be. The free preview is limited to a small number of requests per day. The text and design of the site belong to us; your documents and their translations belong to you.
11. Changes
We may update these terms. The version in force when you place an order applies to that order.
12. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of Ireland. If you are a consumer living in another EU country, you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer law of that country and may bring proceedings there. If you have a complaint, please contact us first — most problems can be solved by a correction or a refund.
